From 2 to 6 September, the General Conference of the Economic Policy and Partnership Network (PEP) was held in Saly, Senegal. The general objective of the conference was to discuss the shortlisted research projects in order to retain the most relevant ones within the limits of available funding. The researchers were divided into three groups according to the nature of their research project. The first group is "Experimental Research" (PEIRI) their projects are experimental data, the second group "Macro-Micro Policy Modeling" (MPIA) uses the computable general equilibrium model as a research tool and the third group "Microeconomic analysis "(PMMA) mobilize econometric tools in their methodological approach. The CARDES team is classified in this last group. The CARDES researchers project focuses on credit constraints, agricultural productivity and household welfare in a gender perspective. The team that participated in the conference was composed of Dr. Yaya KY, Mrs. Diane Larissa YILI and Dr. Al-mouksit AKIM.
