Language course

From May 27 to August 22 Dr. Yaya KY went to Cleveland in the state of Ohio in the USA. He took intensive English courses for three months at the "LADO International Institute" at Baldwin Wallace University (BW) in Cleveland. This stay allowed him to improve his skills in English using  as well as listening, speaking and writing.

Excel training

From March 14 to 16 Dr. Yaya KY participated in the training of 50 Regional Directors of Rural Development (DRDR) on the use of the usual functions of Excel. Organized in Saly by PAPA project for three days, the Excel training focused on the Excel environment, the functions available in Excel pivot tables, graphics and keyboard shortened and tricks that can help to save time in the data processing on Excel.

Training on macroeconomic modeling on assessing the impact of public spending on SDG indicators

Dr Yaya KY provided training on macroeconomic modeling for assessing the impact of public spending on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators in Benin. The training took place in Grand Popo 125 km from Cotonou and brought together 22 participants including six women. They are the focal points of the SDGs in 12 ministries. The main objective of this training was to ensure better ownership, actors in charge of the implementation of the SDGs, and macroeconomic modeling techniques.

Gams Training

From 21 to 25 April 2018, a training workshop on the use of the GAMS software was held in Conakry, Guinea. The workshop focused on the main GAMS software commands, the intermediate commands, the advanced commands, the output files, their interpretation, the programming of a MEGC model and the stochastic simulations.
